Schwartz, Elena MirandaThe Fiordland and Stewart Island regions of SW New Zealand preserve a complete section of Cretaceous continental crust from depths of ~5 to ~65 km. These exposures allow us to directly observe how shear zone architecture and strain localization processes changed by depth within the crustal section.
